Kaspar Prince of cats by Michael Morpurgo

This book is about a boy who workes at a savoy hotel, a french lady comes to stay with her cat kaspar. Later on in the book the french countess sadly died and left the cat behind. When the bell boy found out what happend to the countess he went to find the cat and look after it secretly as you were not allowed to have pets in the hotel so he kept the cat in the staff headcourters and went to check on him every so often. Later on an american family with a young child called Lizziebeth came to a hotel. Lizzebeth find out about how and were the cat is hiding but the boy telles her not to say anything as he could loose his job and get in lots of troble. Soon after the boy and the American family get introduced and become really goood friends. The family offer to take him and the cat to have a better life in America, so the boy is very excited and he takes the cat with him but to get back they have to go on the titanic but what will happen .......

I would rate this book 4.5 as it was brilliant but a little confusing.

Secrets at St.Judes - New girl

This is a book about a girl called Gina she lives in California, she is quite a naughty girl and gets herself into a lots of trouble and her family have had enough so they decide to send her away to a school in Scotland for 1 year to make her better behaved. When she gets to this new school she is treated very different as she does not really fit in. She still gets into lots of trouble but she makes three new friends called Niffy, Amy and Min and they all become very close . She meets Dermot and by the end of the book they both fall in love. At the end of the school year she is allowd to go back to California, however, she decides to go back to California only for her holidays and return to St Judes next year as she is happy there and knows she will get better grades there and she can see more of Dermot. I give this book 4 1/2 out of 5 because I really enjoyed it but it remind me a lot of the film Wild Child.

My sister's a Popstar

This book is about a girl called Sam who writes a blog about how her life now her sisters a Popstar. She use to live in a small flat but now her sister went on tour and became famous. Her sister then came back and as she is so famous her family could move to a bigger house but it would not be their house. So in order to have this big amazing house they would have to have a film crew there the whole time and be on TV. Everyone was happy about this apart from Sam who was not happy to be filmed all the time. She can see how everyone has changed because of the film crew so she writes about her life now.

Cheryl Cole's biography

This book is what some one wrote about Cheryl Coles life. Firstly it talks about Cheryl Cole as a child and how when she was younger she wanted to be a dancer ( ballet dancer ). Then it talkes about Cheryl's mum who helped her start to sing and got her singing lessons, then as a result of all her hard work Cheryl had won a pop contest and Girls Aloud was a pop group. Girls Aloud were made up from this pop contest and they started to become very popular they also released lots of CDs.

Through this book there are lots of pictures of Cheryl Cole, her family and friends. I like this as it shows me what Cheryl Cole was like growing up and they are pictures I have not seen before as they have only been shown in this book.
As this book is all about the life of Cheryl Cole it is also about Girls Aloud and her marriage.

This biography shows the ups and downs of Cheryl coles life and how she coped through it all.

I really enjoyed reading this book and would rate it 4.5/5 .

The summer I turned pretty by Jenny Han

The book I read was 'The Summer I turned Pretty' by Jenny Han. The story was about a young girl nicknamed Belly and her mum, they stayed at her mums friends summer house and Belly met some boys. The boys used to pick on Belly, but now they think shes really changed, much more grown up and pretty. The boys start to fall in love with her.

This book talks about her first kiss and the activties she enjoyed in the summer house e.g. late night swimming. Unfortunetly the boys mum gets Cancer and is very ill but doesn't show her emoutunes and carrys on as normal.
Bellys brother Steve, is good friends with the two boys, he also went to the summer house, while there dad stayed at home.

I really enjoyed reading this book, its a very girly, romantic, fun and enjoyable book. I would recomend this book to teenagers who like girly romance. I rate this book 4/5because sometimes i got a bit confused. But overall it was very good.
